Bienvenue!
We're John & Tania, a kooky couple from the Cotswolds (England) who, after many years of holidaying in France, and many happy memories made with our family, escaped the rat race and followed our dream to live in France permanently in 2015.
During our move, we realised that we wanted to give others the opportunity to fall in love with rural France in the same way we did. We purchased and, over six years, lovingly restored an old dairy farm in L'Épinoux, near Néré, Charente-Maritime and Chez Fins Bois was born. Designed as a home away from home for all, where the crickets sing and the stars dance in the sky nightly, where kids can unapoligetically be kids, where families can craft lasting memories and where travellers of all kinds can find a peaceful nest surrounded by the stunning French countryside.
